On July 25, 2026, the Modesto Gospel Mission will provide backpacks and school supplies to children in need across our community. Help them ensure local children start the school year with confidence. Drop off new backpacks and school supplies at 1400 Yosemite Blvd in Modesto to help make a difference today!

The Stanislaus County Department of Child Support Services is having a Backpack Drive. Donations are needed by July 23. Are you a graduating High School senior heading for college or university? Are you already a full-time student with good academic standing? Female students in Senate District 4 who are pursuing higher education are encouraged to apply for this scholarship! The 4th Senate District includes the Counties of Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, El Dorado, Inyo, Madera, Mariposa, Merced, Mono, Nevada, Placer, Stanislaus, and Tuolumne.
