Connect with essential resources on the 211 Stanislaus Necessities page. Find community-driven support for food, housing, basic and utility needs—always updated and accessible.   Stanislaus County offers a variety of assistance programs to support residents in need. These include food assistance through CalFresh, WIC, emergency food programs, school meals, and senior nutrition programs. Housing support is available via emergency housing assistance and rental assistance programs. For utility help, residents can access LIHEAP through CVOC, MID CARES program, TID CARES Program, and PG&E REACH program. Essential needs are addressed through CalWORKs, the General Assistance Program, and Tribal TANF for Native American families. Additional support comes in the form of Medi-Cal, Senior Emergency Assistance grants, and Homeless Management Information System services. These programs are administered by various local agencies, utility companies, and non-profit organizations, with eligibility criteria and fund availability varying for each program.
